STA Group offers a complete service to provide dies and stamped items. It assists its clients from the initial stage of co-design through the final stage of delivering the finished product. This is possible because STA staff are able to design and build dies and shears, manufacture prototypes and pre-series products, press metal sheets and assemble subgroups. In the last few years these skills combined with cutting-edge technological tools and compliance with market quality standards, have helped the company achieve excellent result.

  • CAD-CAM design of dies (possibility of importing client’s CAD files in any format)
  • Measurement and quality control with 3D "touch and scan" measurement machinery
  • Electrical Discharge Machining, both plunge spark and wire type
  • CNC machine processing
  • Heat treatments of aluminium for conversion from T4 status to T6
  • Washing of small to medium sized parts
  • BOLLHOFF self-perforating riveting system
  • TUCKER welding system
  • TIG and MIG welding
  • Assembly with special inserts
  • Sheet metal pressing on hydraulic presses from 250 to 1200t

Company's History

Since 1975, STA Spa offers a comprehensive service for the supply of dies and pressed products.

The company was founded thanks to the men behind the company, Francesco Tedeschi, Fabio Sarti, and on 1982 with Silvio Tedeschi, together they've increased it's development. Back then, STA had only three employees, but thanks to the continuous growth they've become 50, thus accelerating work processes. In 2001, because of the success of the company, it acquires 51% of O.M.A.S. moldings by Giovanni Sarti, becoming a leader in the industry.

Over the years, it grows rapidly, expanding the branches in which it operates, creating molds for car body, chassis, the interior design and other, mainly thanks to the commitment and professionalism of its employees who work heartedly to meet the needs of customers.

It's enthusiasm and ongoing search for perfection led the company for over 40 years and will continue to do so in the future.

To expand its mission, STA S.p.A. has provided instruments for governance and company organization, applying the ISO 9001:2015 certificated quality management system and implementing IATF 16949:2016 specification for the automotive industry.
